Dear Colleagues,
We are happy to announce that the 16th Turkish HPB Surgery Congress and the 7th HPB Surgical Nursing Congress will be organized by our association and be held at Antalya Royal Seginus Hotel and Congress Centre between 9 November and 12 November 2023.
Our association has made great contributions to the Turkish HPB community since its establishment in 1989, gathered all physicians who made HPB surgery a philosophy of life, and maintained its contributions to active HPB education. The last of these contributions is the Turkish HPB Surgery School and HPB Radar Journal. We wish to enrich these training programs that bring our young and senior colleagues together with a beautiful congress. As the congress organizing committee, we are making an effort to prepare a program that aims to review, discuss and share our experiences regarding the rapid changes that occur in the treatment of liver, biliary tract and pancreatic diseases and the developing medical technologies in this field with you, the esteemed members of our field. The main topics of our congress will be discussed by local and foreign participants with a multidisciplinary approach. Because of this, we would like to inform you that our colleagues from different disciplines will attend our congress and participate in the meetings with us.
Our congress will be held in Antalya, which is famous for its climate and natural beauties. The need for the second National HPB Congress, which we will hold in person after the challenging and stressful times we have been through with the effect of the Covid Pandemic for the last three years, to be held in a relaxed and comfortable environment has made it necessary to organize a beautiful social program in detail in addition to its scientific program. Therefore, we think that this will be a productive and enjoyable congress.
We would like to express that we will be happy and excited to see you all in this organization.

We would like you to share our happiness regarding the “16th Turkish HPB Surgery Congress and 7th HPB Surgical Nursing Congress” organized by Turkish Hepato Pancreatico Biliary Surgery Association between 9 and 11 November 2023 at Antalya Royal Seginus Hotel and Congress Centre.
Have no doubt that we will strive to prepare a program that allows us to talk and discuss the changes and developments in the field, and share our experiences with our valuable colleagues on this path we took with the motto of “Improving the quality of care for liver, biliary tract and pancreatic diseases with team awareness”. To that end, we regard the suggestions of our professors, participants and young colleagues all of whom have an important place in their fields very valuable, and we plan to have a successful congress by taking all of your opinions and suggestions into consideration.
As we know you all are working very hard, we wish you to write down the dates 9-12 November 2023 in your program and look forward to seeing our colleagues from all over the country among us to share our knowledge and experience.
